Weddings on the Water

Yacht Weddings in Cabo San Lucas

A private yacht, the rocks of Land's End, and the people you love most. This is what a wedding can look like when the venue sails.

The Idea

A Venue That Is Also a Voyage

Most wedding venues ask you to bring the atmosphere to them. A yacht wedding in Cabo works the other way around: the setting is already extraordinary, and it changes with every mile.

Your ceremony takes place on deck with the granite arch of El Arco rising behind you. Your reception continues as the yacht cruises the coastline where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. There are no other events on board, no shared spaces and no fixed walls, just your guests and the sea.

Wedding Yachts Cabo arranges private yacht and catamaran charters for wedding ceremonies, receptions and the celebrations around them, all planned directly with you.

The Ceremony

Vows on Deck, El Arco Behind You

Picture your guests seated on the bow as the yacht holds position near Land's End. You walk the deck, not an aisle, and exchange vows beneath a floral arch with the most famous view in Cabo framed behind you.

The ceremony itself is yours to shape. You are welcome to bring your own officiant, minister or celebrant, and the yacht provides the setting: the water, the rocks and the light.

Because the charter is private, the moment belongs entirely to your group, from the first look to the last photograph before dinner.

The Reception

Dinner and Dancing on the Water

After the ceremony there is no drive, no venue change and no lost hour. The reception simply continues on the same yacht.

Cocktails on deck as the light turns gold. Dinner prepared by your onboard chef, planned around your tastes. Toasts, cake and dancing as the shoreline lights come on across the bay.

Onboard dining and bar service are arranged as part of the celebration, from passed appetizers and a full open bar to a seated reception dinner. Your menu is built with you when you book.

Planning

How Your Yacht Wedding Comes Together

Planning a wedding on the water is simpler than most couples expect. It starts with one conversation.

Step 01

Share Your Date and Your Vision

Tell us when you are getting married, how many guests you expect and the kind of celebration you are imagining. An intimate ceremony for close family, a full reception for everyone, or something in between.

Step 02

Choose the Right Yacht

Based on your group size and your plans, our team recommends the yachts or catamarans that fit your celebration and walks you through each option before you decide. You can also browse our Cabo catamaran fleet online first.

Step 03

Shape the Day

Together we plan the details: the ceremony spot, the timing around the sunset, the menu and bar, and the flow from vows to last dance. Every charter is arranged individually. The same planning covers the details that make the day yours, from wedding flowers and photography to gifts and favors.

Step 04

Celebrate on the Water

Your guests step aboard and the day unfolds exactly as planned: the ceremony, the celebration, the dinner, the sunset and the dancing, all in one unforgettable setting.

The Place

Why Couples Choose Cabo

Los Cabos sits at the southern tip of the Baja California Sur peninsula, where desert mountains meet the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez.

For a wedding, Cabo offers rare practical gifts: reliable sunshine, calm evenings, a marina minutes from the rocks of Land's End, and direct flights from across the United States and Canada that make it easy for guests to join you.

And then there is the view. El Arco at golden hour is one of the great natural backdrops in Mexico, and a yacht puts your ceremony directly in front of it.

Late afternoon into sunset is the most requested timing, because the light over Land's End turns gold in the evening. We help you time the ceremony and the cruise around it so the best light of the day falls on your celebration.
It depends on the vessel. Some yachts suit intimate gatherings, while larger yachts and catamarans can host bigger celebrations. Tell us your guest count and we will recommend options that fit your group comfortably.
